Project information
    Project description
The Tutoring Program at Word Made Flesh Sierra Leone seeks to serve vulnerable children in the community of Kroo Bay, who face educational challenges due to poverty, discrimination, and inequity.
The mission of the Tutoring Program is to provide a weekly educational program focused on Literacy, Morality, and Math. Our goal is to see the lives of children transformed through Jesus and to improve educational outcomes for the children of Kroo Bay.

The tutoring program aims to support and complement the education of children who are already enrolled in formal schools, and to lay a foundation for those who are not yet in school. There are over 3,000 children in this slum community, and the majority of them are not attending school. The tutoring program exists to support these children.
Word Made Flesh is not a school—it is a non-governmental organization (NGO) working in and serving the Kroo Bay slum community in Freetown.
