Help Godenu is a non-profit organization committed to improving education, healthcare, and promoting peaceful interfaith coexistence in the Kingdom of Godenu, located in Ghana’s Volta Region. The organization works closely with His Royal Highness Togbe Osei III, the traditional ruler (Dufia) of Godenu since June 29, 2002.
Under the leadership of Togbe Osei III, numerous humanitarian initiatives have been launched, including the construction of schools and community centers, in collaboration with various NGOs worldwide. To recognize significant contributions to these efforts, the Royal House of Godenu has established honorific orders such as the Royal Order of the Elephant and the Royal Order of the Lion.
In Spain, the organization "Amigos de Godenu" supports these initiatives by organizing fundraising events like the annual Autumn Ball, with all proceeds directed towards development projects in Godenu.
The laptops are intended for use by the students and pupils of the Godenu Basic School, which serves children from Kindergarten to Junior Secondary School. The school has 233 boys and 202 girls enrolled. Despite being a government school, it has been neglected, prompting the king to seek assistance from NGOs to support the school. The laptops will be instrumental in enhancing the educational experience for these students, providing them with essential tools for learning and development.
