Project information
    Project description
The project seeks to make available and accessible, IT equipment to all students and designated teachers as a means of integrating education technology in the process of the school’s routine teaching and learning for the attainment of improved learning outcomes.
While the use of computers and other IT equipment has been proven to contribute immensely in upgrading learning outcomes, their acquisition for use in schools as learning aids remains
a challenge. Thus, students graduate from schools and colleges lacking the basic knowledge and skills in the use of computers. Mindful of this setback, the school purposefully aims at
introducing student, at an early age, to basic computer skills to accelerate learning, enable diverse knowledge gain and understanding, resulting in the acquisition of life skills in
preparedness for higher education and professional employment.
Three periods of one hour each will be allocated per day for the use of the computer lab. For each of the three periods, 22 students will be in engagement, and each assigned to a computer all by himself/herself. In other words, a total of 66 students will access a computer per day, and cumulatively 330 per week. This means that each and every student in the school will be entitled to one hour of computer lesson per week. Two computer qualified teachers will be assigned for the computer related lessons.
