Project information
    Project description
The Little Angel Bububu Academy is located in Likoni, Mombasa, in a rural area. Due to widespread poverty, many families in the community are unable to afford formal education for their children. In response to this challenge, the Academy charges only a minimal school fee compared to other schools in the region. Moreover, families who are unable to pay even this reduced fee are offered sponsorships to ensure their children receive an education.
Access to education is especially vital for children from impoverished backgrounds, as it provides them with opportunities for a better future.

The laptops and tablets will primarily be utilized in Grade 5 and Grade 6 classes to support digital learning and enhance educational outcomes. Many of the students in these grades come from households that do not have access to technological devices such as computers, tablets, or smartphones. As a result, these children are at risk of being excluded from the growing integration of digital tools in education, which are increasingly essential for acquiring relevant skills and staying connected to modern learning processes. Providing access to these devices ensures that all students have equal opportunities to participate in digital education and develop competencies that are crucial for their academic and professional futures.
