Project information
    Project description
Last year, in the only high-school in the Valea Doftanei (a 7,000 people village in the Carpathians mountains in Romania), the first CoderDojo Club was initiated.

From the total of 712 students in the school, about 100 have already enrolled in the clubs’ activities: to learn Scratch (visual programming), micro:bit coding and html. Half of them are in their primary school, age 7-10 years old. They have computers to cover less than a fifth of the primary school students enrolled in the club. Because of the growing interest in the club, they would need more computers, but do not have any funds, the club activity is run by volunteer teachers, over the weekend.
