Project information
Project description
TunisAid was founded in November 2018 by committed students and engineers from Tunisia living in Munich. Our organization is dedicated to promoting and supporting people with disabilities in Tunisia. We work together with established organizations and associations in Tunisia in order to run and implement successful on-site projects.
The first 10 Laptops will be handed over to students with special needs to finalize their master/bachelor thesis. TunisAid will make sure that the students are really in need and that they will take care of the laptops and give them back after finalizing their thesis and/or finding a job. After return, a technical checkup of the laptops will be done (by volunteer IT specialist) will be done, so it can be given to the next student in need.
Further 25 Laptops are needed to setup 2 IT rooms in 2 centers for children with handicap: One center in Ouardanine, and the other one in Sousse.
TunisAid has already cooperation agreements with these 2 centers and provides them already with facilities/services needed by handicapped children.
