    Project description
The project seeks to enhance the quality of primary education by establishing a conducive, innovative and safe learning environment through introducing new child-centred teaching methodologies, provision of latest and updated teaching materials, provision and imparting of information and communication technology (ICT) skills to learners, improving the school infrastructure and sanitation and building new teacher accommodations to reduce teacher-pupil ratio. The project also seeks to enhance participation of pupils and their caregivers in the governance through forming pupil school governance committees and parent-teacher committees.

In order for the project to successfully realize its goal especially provision and imparting information and communication technology (ICT) skills in learners, it is in need of 50 laptops which will be used as information and communication technology (ICT) tools where learners will experience a hand-on type of learning. This will also help learners to bridge the gap that exists between theory and practical learning in relation to information and communication technology (ICT).

The laptops will be highly secured and protected by the information and communication technology teacher who will be in charge of monitoring the performance of the laptops, maintenance as well as ensuring that the whole laptop room (class) is locked and guarded

The Child Friendly School Project needs 50 laptops to carter for the beneficiaries but as an organization, we may need over 100 laptops as we reach out to a lot of children in different schools of chibombo, not just for this project but also other project that we are implementing aiming at educating children both in primary and secondary schools. We are very much aware to your organization policy of giving out laptops on a gradual basis and we would like to sincerely request that you consider our cause. We have no problem with receiving them gradually as our major concern is to see to it that children and youths are educated and empowered through-out all generations.
