Project description
We teach will be aged 8 to age 32 Basic introduction to computers, MS Office suite, SQL, Software Development, Mobile App Development, Basic software programming, Web design, Coral Draw, Database, Network engineering and Programming via Skype.
Offering online computer classes is part of our literacy / empowerment project for children and young adults. Through the knowledge and skills imparted from these classes, students will be empowered to become literate, self-confident, employable and independent citizens. Learning the fundamentals of keyboard and browser use can open the door to an infinite range of learning experiences. Through the knowledge and skills imparted by the volunteers, we will be able to empower the women/girls. Our goal is to introduce girls to ICT at a young age this is in attempt to close the gender gab in Information Technology job Market
Most of the young children in schools have never ever since a computer In their lives before.
The laptop donation would help us reach more children and help up set up mobile computer clubs in remote villages so that no child is left behind.
