Project information
Project description
Friends for Matibi, a Swiss based Charity Assoziation and the corresponding Local FFM trust, are setting up a self-organized learning hub, a socalled Nook, in Matibi, Zimbabwe. It will be the first nook in Zimbabwe with the goal to spread it all over Zim. It aims to offer youth a place where they can learn programming, design, jewellery, whatever is right for them and might give the students the capability to progress their own income generating business. There are no teachers, just a nook manager who is responsible for the self-organizing process with the students in the nook. We are under the guidance of Projectdefy.org , an organization that invented the nook concept and that already open up different nooks in India and Uganda.
