Project information
Project description
First Line Junior School in Nakibizzi village, near Jinja, Uganda is an incredible place, providing low-cost, high-quality education to children who wouldn’t otherwise be in school at all. There are very limited resources at the school but teachers and management make the best out of them and they would be incredibly grateful to receive laptops via Labdoo.
The laptops will be used to provide IT education to the children and also on the weekends for youth from the surrounding areas. There is a budget for an IT teacher and also volunteers from the local area who are able to teach IT too. It would become the first school in the area to provide IT education and would be a wonderful skill for the young people to learn in order to upskill them in their future lives
