Project description
Die Edmund Rice School hat 2 Computerräume. Jedoch sind die dort verwendeten Computer sehr unzuverlässig und stürzen ständig ab. An jedem Tower hängen ca. 10 User. Die Schule ist die größte im Umkreis (ca. 1.400 SuS) und benötigt die Computer im Alltagsbetrieb, vor allem in der Oberstufe zur Vorbereitung auf die national exams, da es kaum Bücher gibt (Schüler/Bücher-ratio 1:30).
Absolventen des Oberhausener Gymnasiums sind momentan in ihrem Volunteer-Projekt vor Ort und weisen die LehrerInnen in die Laptops und Lernsoftware ein.
Im Oktober ist zusätzlich eine Schülergruppe aus Oberhausen in Arusha, um den tansanischen Schülern beim Umgang zu helfen.
