Next Chance Vocational Training Institute | BINTUMANI D-SL

Next Chance is a registered community based organization that supports the education and employment aspirations of young people especially former inmates and vulnerable young people who are at risk through its rehabilitation programs. It also exposes these young people in climate change issues through tis Environmental Literacy and Basic recycling technique programs.
This project is a youth led project which provides educational opportunities to young people. The I T equipment requested will be use for self learning purposes. The Learners and Facilitators will also use them to store valuable materials using the internet and offline. This support if granted will improve on the learning abilities of the Students. In October, 2023, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany provided non refundable funds for the setting up of a plastic lab and upgrading the Learning facility. This support has greatly helped the Learners as we now use a smart TV for DIY(Do it yourself) exercises and these IT equipment will tremendously help in that direction.
Next Chance is in Partnership with Bintumani D-SL, a German based NGO in Berlin. They normally ship equipment and tools for our project as part of their Partnership support . Recently they sent us some items and we expect some items in late December 2023. They have agreed to serve as Transporters for us if our request is granted.
