Ilanga Centre Confidence for Children

In this centre ilanga is offering a nursery for the single mums, where they can leave their children while they are working. In addition ilanga offers for up to 80 children (12 – 18Year) a afterschool support to give them a better chance in the school and strengthen them for the a better future. Centre Confidence for Children sees it is vital to establish ICT centre to create global learning opportunities for school children and surrounding community. The library will have internal and and Wi-Fi network connection to provide internet with controlled password. It will subscribe to e-libraries so that students will have access to concurrent updated e-books. The centre will provide trainings on ICT for internal and external community members The library has also hard copy books for reading and also study books as per the local school plans and curriculum. Fortunately the centre is fully furnished and has also outdoor space providing private reading spaces in the shadow, either for paper books or e-books.

The laptops will be used for the afterschool support of the 12 – 18-year-old students for the trainers and for the students for reading e-books, accessing internet, and other communication purposes. We appreciate if education material could be pre-installed to the laptops or if you have lists of useful educational material that we can downloaded uploaded or come with memories so that we can upload.
