    Project description
    The AAELYFIG is a non-profit association created by the former students of the Government High School of Figuil situated in the North Cameroon. The ultimate aim of the association is to break the circle of poverty through reduction of the number of boys and girls from resource-poor families dropping out of school prematurely by:
    1. Granting scholarships or giving financial assistance.
    2. Finding post-graduate studies and job opportunities.
    3. Assisting toward capacity building and strengthening
    Beneficiaries of financial aid or scholarship are selected through the administrative and pedagogic staff of the school. Aid is granted once. Performance at school is important for renewal of aid. Our organization is functioning since 2020 and has given scholarship to about 50 students.
