Project description
A provisional small computer classroom was built in 2012 to test the viability of a computer education program. Computers are refurbished laptops provided by non-for-profit organization labdoo.org. Approx. 30 computers have been delivered. The program has been successful with request for expansion and is administered by an onsite computer teacher. School has 500 students, grades 1-12.
New classroom will be 56 square meters (7 mx 8 m) or approx. 600 sq. ft (23 x 26ft) and accommodate 60 students. Tables, chairs and basic equipment are included, such as projector. Additional laptops will be donated by the program run by labdoo.
