Project information
    Project description
Community Development Shield Uganda aim is to support the integration, inclusion, involvement and empowerment of the underprivileged, vulnerable, underserved and disadvantaged youth and women in communities into the development paradigm shift through ICT training. The project will Help Bridge the ‘digital divide’, providing access to laptops, internet, ICT services and training courses to those without home access free of charge since ICT has been identified as a tool to transform a subsistence economy into an information-rich, knowledge-based one, and accelerate economic growth. The donated laptops will be used for training vulnerable youth with various ICT skills for self-reliance.
We have been providing training to vulnerable youth before in ICT with limited computers and any possible support to our organization will not provide any challenge in terms of reporting and accountability. We have stationed personnel’s that will be in charge of servicing, maintenance and repairing of the donated laptops in case of break down.
