Project description
Orjen choling monastery was established in 1998 to provide basic education and mostly focused Tibetan language to the local children and who are interesting about Buddhist religion. Previous to establishment of this monastery and chhyngmiteng village had to go to different monastery which was very hard and not possible for the small children. Currently, the school has 45 students with four teachers. Since the monastery is located in remote area, the monks do not have access to computer based education. Now they are changing different kind of educations also and they are thinking most important is internet. The concept of this project is to provide teaching and learning facility to the children through laptops so that they can learn with fun and also generates children's interest in learning process. The laptops will be used in teaching by teachers and also by students at the school for general knowledge, mathematics, science, English and entertainment.
