Project information
Project description
The Africa Dew Day (UJN) School, launched in 2015, operates an eight-classroom leadership and education model for youth. In the first year of operations, the school was ranked No. 1 in all of Congo by their Department of Education. With a strong demand for a full primary school (K–6th grade) as evidenced by enrollment growth from 45 students in the first year to 129 students. Construction is almost completed for four additional classrooms.
The long-term vision is to construct a new building with more classrooms and administrative offices. As a certified “Leader in Me Program” the school is currently serving students from K-4, teaching 21st century leadership and life skills in a Christ-centered environment. Thus creating a culture of empowered youth who believe that every child is a leader.
