9Miles bietet Jugendlichen im Alter von 10 bis 17 Jahren ein Bildungsangebot ausserhalb der Schule. Neben Hausaufgabenhilfe und Lesen ist Surfen ein wichtiger Bestandteil zur Persönlichkeitsentwicklung. Ziel ist es neue Perspektiven zu schaffen und den Einfluss der lokalen Gangs und Drogen auf die Jugend einzudämmen.
Wir verfügen über sichere Räumlichkeiten die uns von der Stadt zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Um nun auch die Jugendliche digital auszubilden und fit für den weiteren Bildungsweg zu machen, benötigen wir Computer und am besten Laptops um diese bei Bedarf an Jugendliche verleihen zu können. Dazu wird in Kürze ein Internetanschluss installiert.

Huge thanks to @labdoo_org for the donation of 2 more laptops (in addition to the two donated last year) which are much needed for our #Afterschool academic and #literacyprogrammes. Having laptops allow our children to spread out in our clubhouse and work independently.
