Project information
    Project description
Kaleke Kasome Foundation (KAKA) is a non profit organization – NGO that was founded in 2014 and officially registered in 2016 with a focus of creating awareness and finding effective solutions about the on going sexual violence of young girls (defilement) and transforming lives of children in rural communities by supporting the marginalized groups through education and providing life/hand skills that they may need to better their lives. We do this through schools and community outreaches by also involving all community members and key stake holders.
The organization has also established a children’s center located in Mpigi town council – Mayembe upper where children from the surrounding communities of Mpigi district come to access our library services, Hand skills in baking and tailoring, computer lessons, with a wide range of other programs like mentorship, counseling and guidance, Reproductive health, sports among others, free of charge.
It is from this background that we request for laptops from your organization so that we can be able to effectively extend our computer literacy training program to the big number of children who access our children’s center in our after school program.
