Project Digital transformation
Due to the existence of digital differences in most learning schools that is attributed to limited access to technological devices like computers, Digital divide is prevalent in most learning centers in Kasese district yet the world is now on the trend of technological advancement.
The technological differences have negatively impacted on the lives of learners especially when attending higher institutions of learning and in the labor market that is technologically situated.
MAID therefore opts to reduce the gap of digital divide by equipping learners in secondary schools of Mutanywana, Kyarumba Islamic. MAID opts to train school going children in computer skills especially micro soft word, Excel, Publisher, power point, internet and other computer packages that are liable to reduce the digital gap.
The laptops if provided shall be used as the major tools for training. 2 students shall use 1 computer rationalizing 1:2 and therefore 40 students shall be present in a training session.
Since the world is going digital there is a need to empress technology, therefore with donation from Labdoo this will be achievable
