Project information
    Project description
Children’s Fate is implementing a Digital Skills and Educational Support Project aimed at empowering conflict-affected children and youth, including displaced learners and orphans, with practical computer skills and access to digital learning resources.

Many of the children and young people we work with have limited or no access to computers, despite living in an increasingly digital world. As a result, they are excluded from digital education, modern learning methods, and employment opportunities. This digital gap is even more pronounced among children affected by conflict, displacement, and poverty.

To address this challenge, Children’s Fate has begun training underserved youths in basic computer literacy, graphic design, video and audio editing, and web development. While the training has generated strong interest, motivation, and talent, the lack of computers significantly limits practice, continuity, and skill development.

The donated computers will serve as essential learning tools that allow participants to practice, apply, and strengthen the digital skills they are being trained in. The computers will not be used for personal purposes but strictly for educational and training activities within Children’s Fate programs.

The computers will be used to:
-Provide basic computer literacy training for beginners

-Support digital skills training, including graphic design, video and audio editing, and basic web development
-Assist learners with schoolwork, research, and educational assignments
-Enable teacher-guided practical sessions and supervised practice
-Support youth-led creative projects that promote confidence, healing, and self-expression

Beneficiaries, 48 learners and 6 teachers/trainers who facilitate learning and provide guidance

    Management and Sustainability
Children’s Fate will ensure proper use and sustainability of the computers by:
-Assigning a project coordinator responsible for oversight and reporting
-Establishing clear rules for computer use, storage, and handling
-Conducting regular maintenance and basic technical checks
-Working with a local technician for repairs when necessary
-Keeping all computers in a secure and supervised learning space
Through this project, learners will gain practical digital skills that enhance their education, improve employability, and promote self-reliance. Access to computers will help transform training into real opportunities, ensuring that the time and effort invested by these young learners leads to long-term personal and community development.
