Project description
Villagers of 5 neighbour villages asked me, when I visited the village Gbassalon Town in 2023, to help them to build a primary school for the 150 children of the villages. The next governmental school is too far for the young children. Beginning of 2025 we started with 3 teachers, kitchen houses were the class rooms. Then we collected money from friends and collegues and started to build a house in traditional method with 4 classrooms. Since the new school year 4 teachers teach the children in the raw school building. The teachers are villagers, who are able to teach. Teachers who studies in the university would not work far in a village.
