    Project description
Bridging the Digital Divide: Establishing a Community ICT Learning Hub at St. John the Evangelist Minor Seminary, Uganda
The project seeks to establish a Digital Learning Hub at St. John the Evangelist Minor Seminary Secondary School, located in Kasese District, Western Uganda. This initiative aims to:
    • Equip students with essential digital competencies under Uganda’s new ICT-integrated curriculum.
    • Create a fully functional computer laboratory for both Ordinary and Advanced Level students.
    • Transform the lab into a community digital hub during holidays, enabling access to digital literacy for neighboring schools, teachers, and youth.
The laptops will be used for ICT training, teacher capacity-building, research, and e-learning. The school has a resident ICT technician, a maintenance plan for hardware care, and a sustainability framework supported by small ICT fees and alumni contributions.
