Project information
Project description
The Binti Kinara Centers are safe learning spaces established by the Girls First Initiative (GFI) to empower girls aged 17–24 from low-income families in Vingunguti, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Many of these girls dropped out of school due to early pregnancies or poverty. The centers provide digital literacy, entrepreneurship, financial education, and mentorship programs that help girls gain employable skills and start small businesses.
The laptops will be used to deliver digital learning, entrepreneurship modules, and online courses, enabling the girls to access educational content, connect with mentors, and run small-scale community innovation projects.
