Project information
Project description
The Love Uganda Foundation operates a children’s home in Mukono District, Uganda, providing care, education, and holistic support to underprivileged children, including orphans and those from vulnerable families. Our goal is to ensure that every child under our care, as well as youths in the surrounding community, has access to quality education enhanced by technology.
We plan to use the laptops to introduce Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) as part of our educational program. The laptops will enable children to access digital learning materials, improve their computer literacy, and develop essential ICT skills that prepare them for future academic and professional opportunities. They will also be used for online research, virtual learning sessions, coding and digital creativity classes, and to support teachers in lesson preparation and record keeping.
By integrating these laptops into our learning environment, we aim to bridge the digital divide for disadvantaged children and empower them with the knowledge and skills necessary to build brighter, self-reliant futures.
