Project description
ANKAA Project, a Luxembourgish and Greek non-profit organisation created in 2017, stands for equitable pathways towards education and employment. ANKAA intends to strengthen the unemployed community in Athens. By providing language classes, vocational training in the field of tailoring, metal, electricity, carpentry and IT & Media, ANKAA Project supports asylum-seekers, refugees and migrants and unemployed Greeks.
Through its collaborative network of partners and supporters in the European Union, ANKAA develops stronger training programs, facilitates access to employment and integration in the labour market, allowing the participants to create tools for rebuilding their lives in a dignified, sustainable and personal way.
The project includes a positive approach towards the environment and the implementation of the principles of circular economy, by offering inter alia recycling and upcycling programs and activities. The project’s holistic approach will foster critical thinking, active participation and interactions, a sense of belonging to the European society and access to the labour market and employment opportunities.
With the Partnership with Labdoo the Ankaa Projekt will get Laptops Tablets and Phones, even when defect and they will learn in Athene how to disasamble, repair and put them into work again
