Project information
Project description
The school does not have an IT department, yet there is a curriculum and subject in IT. The learners are only aware of the theoretical aspect of the subject.
Umi Foundation is about 46 kilometers away from the school and has partnered with the school through its Mentorship project, where 10 girls have been selected to go through various trainings and activities, all aimed at reducing the number of child marriages in the community.
Umi Foundation will implement the project in the initial 3 months, thereafter capacity develop an IT teacher to take over the lessons.
