Edoovillage #1742 - أوغندا: JULINA MEMORIAL SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF (Rev. Jjumba)

This is a Boarding School for the Deaf which i oppened up with the help of my Brothers and Sisters after the deaf of our Mother.

Julina was openned in 2005 to help Deaf Children who in the local Language are called Stupid because of their failure to Communicate. It is covering the Districts of Mityana, Mubende, Kiboga and Hoima and some Children come from Kampala.
I Chose to do such a Project following Francis of Assisi as my Priestly role Model.
These being Deaf Children, learn following the normal government Curricurum for Primary Schools.
Our School runs from Baby to Primary Seven.But at the same time we teach Carpently, Tailoring and knitting to help those who might not go far in the normal education System. We lacked a Computer lab although we very much wanted to teach them how to use the Computer and as wel as teaching them with Computers.
