Project information
    Project description
Jamey, a campsite 1 hour from the city of San Cristobal, is a very poor community

Aldeas de Paz started a community outreach project to teach about gender equality and many other topics in Jamey with the community leader Bladimir, the Youth Club CHEJA and Peacecorps worker Zena Clemens.

There is no access to any computers in the whole small village of Jamey with several hundred inhabitants and dozens of young people who oftentimes want to visit a university and find a competitive job in another city later on.

Aldeas de Paz proposed the donation of 1 laptop via Labdoo and after evalutation, we would all be happy to receive it.

Aldeas de Paz visits the projectsite several times a year and is in constant contact with the community leaders.
