Project information
    Project description
Charles Kebbi is providing an IT education targetting children in orphanages in Sierra Leone and Kenya through their non profit Organization, Global Impact Innovators ((GII). Global Impact Innovators (GII) is dedicated to bridging the digital divide in rural Sierra Leone through a comprehensive technology and entrepreneurship training program. Our initiative specifically targets young women and rural youth who have been systematically excluded from digital opportunities due to economic constraints and limited infrastructure.
In Sierra Leone's rural communities, where access to technology is virtually non-existent, GII aims to create transformative change through:
    Comprehensive Digital Training
Basic computer literacy and software skills
    Internet navigation and online research
    Digital communication and collaboration tools
Cybersecurity awareness and safe internet practices
    Business Skills Development
    Product management fundamentals
    Entrepreneurship basics
    Financial literacy
    Digital marketing skills
    Basic accounting and business planning
    Mentorship and Support
    One-on-one guidance from experienced professionals
    Regular progress monitoring
    Career counseling and development
    Ongoing technical support
The provision of laptops will serve as essential tools in this transformation, enabling:
Hands-on practice of newly acquired skills
    Access to online learning resources
    Development of real-world business projects
Connection to global opportunities and markets
Participation in virtual workshops and training sessions
By combining technology access with comprehensive training and mentorship, GII will empower these young individuals to become active participants in the digital economy, breaking the cycle of digital exclusion that has historically limited opportunities in rural Sierra Leone.
Our goal is not just to provide computers, but to create sustainable pathways to economic empowerment through technology-enabled education and entrepreneurship training. Each laptop will serve multiple students, maximizing impact and creating a ripple effect of digital literacy throughout these communities.

    Thank you note
On behalf of our entire team at Global Impact Innovators, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for considering our request for laptop donations to support the children in Sierra Leone. Your generosity and willingness to support our mission mean the world to us. These laptops will provide unprecedented opportunities for these children, most of whom have never had the chance to interact with a computer before. By bridging the digital divide, you are not only enhancing their educational experience but also opening up new horizons for their future. Your contribution will have a profound and lasting impact on their lives and their communities. Thank you once again for your consideration and for making a difference. We look forward to the possibility of working together and seeing the smiles on the faces of these eager young learners.
