Project description
              Objective:
The main objective is to provide poor children of Thailand hill tribes with a functional and operational computer laboratory at the Buddha Kasettra School. This project will be carried out in collaboration with ChuayDek - Raising Greener Generations Team. Computer skills will represent additional possibilities for these children to find employment and access advanced education in the future. The school was established by the PraChaiyotChaiyayaso in 1986 trying to provide safe shelter and education to kids from one of the slums in the surrounding of Bangkok. The school subsequently welcomed children from hill tribes (Thai Yai,Akha, Karen, Lahu, Hmong), from divorced families or orphans, and kids with drug problems, preventing them to fall into dangerous lives or human trafficking. In the last 20 years the school gradually transformed itself into a large welcoming center providing free education and hosting, in the years of high pick, up to 300 kids ranging from 4 to 18 years old (generally with an average of 120-150 children)
