Project information
    Project description
    Humane Warriors (NGO) is supporting students and teachers with the mission for 100% children's enrollment, engagement and learning in the adivasi community.

    Adivasis are indigenous tribal communities that live in the areas around the hills of Gudalur, India. The purpose of this program is two-fold:
    (a) to create an alternate learning space at the village level to support, motivate and work with the children on their all round development and progress in education, thereby reducing drop-outs, in addition to being a space where drop-outs can return to the classroom.
    This is done by creating a safe and enabling learning environment and providing contextual and holistic learning inputs to the children facilitated by teacher-leaders from their own communities and villages;
    (b) To provide dignified employment for the adivasi youth and train and develop them as teachers and community-leaders.

    The laptops will be used as a medium to transfer learnings to the youth, while making them comfortable with tech equipments and their operation/use.
